Do you want to feel good? If so, join easy Aerobics. We meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10 AM in the Clubhouse. In the summer, we meet at the pool.
 
 
 
American Legion                                 President –     Robert Waizenegger
The Legion meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 7 PM in the Clubhouse.

The Auxiliary meets the third Wednesday of the month at 7 PM  in the Greenery Room.
 
Leisure Glen Art League                     President – Philip Verderosa
 Philip’s vision in forming the Art League is to encourage the many talented residents of the Glen to create and enjoy art, with the hope that in the future all artists at the Glen will have a conducive place to gather and create, sharing their ideas and techniques.
The Leisure Glen Art  League meets year-round every Monday afternoon at 1 PM. Everyone is welcome.
Bingo                                                  President – Tom & Nina Schlitz
Monday night is “Fun Night” at the Glen. We play Bingo from 6 to 9 PM in the auditorium.  The more people that play, the higher the prize money. We look forward to seeing you!!!
 
Bocce Ladies                                     Wednesday President – Carol Minton
                                                           Friday President – Ann Cacciaguida 
 
The Ladies Bocce League meets from April through mid-June and then again in August through October. We celebrate the end of each season with an Awards Luncheon. Watch the Gazette, the website and LGTV regarding sign-up times for the  Wednesday and Friday Ladies Bocce Leagues.  It’s great fun.
 
 
Bocce Men’s                                        President – Andy Coppola 
 The Men’s Bocce League was formed as a way to play a fun game and combine some skill, some strategy and lots of luck. We play an 11-week season, summer and fall. Please watch LGTV, the website and the Gazette for sign-up times.
 
Bowling                                              President – Dottie Gross
The Leisure Glen Bowling League meets every Monday from September through mid-June at Coram Country Lanes. You will be receiving information regarding times and signup in the Gazette and on LGTV.
 
Bridge                                                  President – Sally Barrella
Beginners and Intermediate players meet on Tuesdays in the card room and Thursdays in the Greenery Room.
Ceramics Club                                    President – 
 The Ceramics Club meets on Thursdays from 10 AM to 12 PM. We meet in the fall and spring for an 8-week session. View some of our beautiful pieces in the Clubhouse lobby showcase. See the concierge for further information.

 The Exercise Club suspended meeting during the covid lockdown.
 
The Garden Club                              President – Chris Cole
The purpose of the Garden Club is to enhance the beauty of the Glen through plantings and care of common property, to assist residents in their individual gardens and to stimulate a general interest in plant culture. Meetings are on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 2 PM. 
Fibre Arts Club                                 President – 
Need to get your creative juices flowing?  Like to make things for yourself or others?
Have you always admired people who can knit, crochet, sew and quilt?
Want to meet with others to share ideas and learn new techniques?
We would like to invite you to join our Club consisting of like-minded people teaching, learning and sharing the many types of fibre arts. Make things for yourself or your family, or for donation to a charitable organization.
 
4th of July Club                                President –  
We schedule, plan and coordinate July 4th celebrations for the community.  The primary goal and objective of this Club is to facilitate the gathering of residents and to celebrate this event in order to foster goodwill and friendship amongst the residents.
 
 
Glen Café                                       President – Raffaela Trentacoste
This not-for-profit organization sponsors and conducts poolside parties and other Café functions for the residents of Leisure Glen.
 
Golf Club (9 Hole)                           President – Joe Sanatore
The Leisure Glen Nine Hole Golf Club plays every Wednesday at 2 PM at the Swan Lake Golf Course. This Club is open to all Leisure Glen residents.
 
Hand and Foot Canasta Club           President – Marie Weinreich
The purpose of this Club is to teach the residents of Leisure Glen how to play the game of Hand and Foot Canasta and to encourage camaraderie among the residents who participate. 
Horseshoe Club                                 President – Andy Coppola
The Horseshoe Club plays on Tuesdays from 12:30 to 3 PM. Watch for news in the Gazette, on the website and on LGTV.
 
Italian/American Club                      President – Carmine Paul Cordella
This Club promotes and celebrates the culture and heritage of Italy and its people through cultural information and social events.
Library at Leisure Glen                  Presidents – Kathy Foster, Jane Foster
The Library is open whenever the Clubhouse is open and lends fiction and non-fiction books in both hardcover and softcover.
Leisure Glen Band                         President – Bob Russo
We are a group of residents who love playing music from the 40s onward.
We welcome new members. We rehearse in the Clubhouse on Wednesdays at 7 PM.
 
 
Line Dancing                                 President – Jeannie Kopp
To have fun and promote health and well-being through music and line dancing. We meet Thursdays at 11 AM from March to December in the auditorium.
 
 
 
 
Men’s Club                                    President – Paul Lanning                                          
The Men’s Club is a fundraising, non-profit organization.  All monies that the Club raises are donated back to the community for various projects. One of our most joyous events is the annual Christmas party for the grandchildren of our residents.
 
On The Town                                 President – Anita Welden
 
On The Town is a group of residents who meet on the first Friday of the month at 12 PM in the Clubhouse.  At these meetings, we discuss future trips, which may be cultural, historical or just a day in New York City to do your own thing.
 
Ping Pong                                     President – Philip Verderosa
A Club created to enjoy and learn how to play the game of ping pong. To provide competition at all levels of skill. Everyone is welcome. We meet every Tuesday and Thursday year-round from 9 to 11 AM in the auditorium.
 
Pottery                                            President – Catherine Tupper         
 The potters are a group of residents who work with clay. We hand-build and create wonderful, functional and decorative works of art. We meet in the fall and spring for an 8-week session. Please watch LGTV and the Gazette for more information regarding sign-ups.
 
Social Club                                     President – Jeannie Quaranto
 We sponsor and conduct various social functions to enhance the lifestyle of our residents. 
Get involved; we always need help! As a resident, you are automatically enrolled as a member of this Club.
 
 
Swim Club                                     President – Philip Verderosa
The Swim Club is open to all residents of  Leisure Glen. We meet every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10 AM – 12 PM during the pool season.
 
 
Tennis Club                                 President – Philip Verderosa
PickleBall                                      Chairperson – Ronnie Schultheis
The tennis courts are available to all residents. Organized play, both day and evening, is offered to Club participants. Social events, tournaments, and lessons are enjoyed throughout the season. Please watch LGTV and the Gazette, or call the Club president, for other schedules. We welcome everyone to become a member of the tennis/pickleball community here at Leisure Glen. The dues are currently $15 per individual, $25 per couple.
 
Theater at the Glen                       President – Ronnie Donovan
 
Our purpose is to maintain a theater group, produce plays and generate an interest and appreciation of the theater by studying and gaining information on all forms of stagecraft. Membership is open to all residents. Since its formation in 1988, the Theater Group has produced at least one presentation every year. Our plays have been complete productions, which can be compared to regional theater. To launch the production of a play takes a lot of help in the form of cast, director, producer, set designers, carpenters, backstage personnel and more. Please join us; meetings are the first Tuesday of the month at 7 PM in the Clubhouse.
 
Travel Club                                      President – Ann Cacciaguida
The Leisure Glen Travel Club provides both day trips to casinos and overnight trips to New York City, casinos and resorts, and cruises to various locations. Dues are collected annually with meetings as announced in the Gazette and on LGTV and the Leisure Glen website. 
Trim-a-Tree                                    President – Diane Carlson
Trim-a-Tree is a not-for-profit Club whose sole purpose is to produce a program for the annual community Christmas celebration, which includes decorating the Christmas tree in the Clubhouse.
Twilight Bocce  & Bean Bag           President – Ron Matz
We start twilight bocce in May on Tuesdays at 4 PM and Thursdays at 4 PM until October. From October until May, we play bean bag on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 PM. A great way to meet your neighbors and make new friends.
 
 
Women’s Guild                                 President – Mary Ann Fox
All women who live in Leisure Glen are automatically members. Charity is our primary purpose and spreading goodwill is our reward! We host monthly game days, an on-site spring luncheon in April, our famous fall luncheon and fashion show off-site in September and our annual food drive and holiday gift-giving event. Donations received from our events over 30 years have enabled the Women’s Guild to donate tens of thousands of dollars to worthy charitable organizations. The Women’s Guild can show women how to get involved, make new friends and have fun doing it! We meet the third Tuesday of each month, and all women are invited to join our monthly board and committee meetings. We look forward to welcoming you!
 
 
 
Woodcrafters Club                              President – Ralph Spinola
The purpose of the craft shop is twofold – ONE to help maintain the community and TWO to enable individual residents to express their creativity. All members must be certified in the use of craft shop equipment. The shop is located in the Administration Building at 311 Glen Drive. Please watch the Gazette and LGTV for sign-up times.
